Community Groups
A Community called home
Wouldn’t it be great if you could walk a couple of houses down the street and find yourself in the middle of a living, vibrant fellowship of people who love you and want to share life with you? Wouldn’t it be awesome to live among people who recognize the value of what God has deposited in your life and are committed to seeing you grow and flourish in that potential? That’s exactly what the Focus group Communities really are! It’s just like coming home. That word stirs the warmest of emotions. Home is where I am valued, loved, and listened to. It gives the sense that you have arrived - I’m home! That is what our generation is looking for - a way to come home. There is a generation of disenfranchised people out there whose home lives do not resemble anything normal. They are weary travelers who are looking for a sense of well being and family. I think that’s what God provides. When people return to the one who created them - they made it home. Church should “feel” that way. It should trigger something in the spirit that makes us say, “aahh, home at last.” Our vision focus is to “Make people feel at home in the community of Faith.
